Welcome to the Public Demonstration of "Wanted! The Quake II Western Pack".
This pack features 2 single player levels, designed to give you an insight into the fun packed full version of Wanted!, available soon.
It also features a series of Multi-player levels for Internet and Lan play against your friends.
Please bear in mind that Wanted! is designed for 3D enhanced systems only and although it will run on machines without this hardware you will notice poor performance.
Demo Installation..........
Copy the files and directory structures of this CD directly into your existing QuakeII directory EXACTLY as they are on the CD.
Double click on the wanted file within your quakeII directory and once the Maverick logo has appeared, push escape, select new game and enjoy the small intro movie which demonstrates a small part of the final product. (Please note. this demonstration features an early model of the Indian which still retains the firing pattern of the Q2 soldier, naturally the final version will have all new weapons for the Indian).
The first single player level will load automatically after the small movie.
For multiplayer games select multiplayer from the main menu and begin by selecting any map.
Once the game has loaded, bring down the console by pressing the ` key and type
map ????.map
where ???? is the name of the map.
the choices are documented in the main manual word doc.
