  16. Arachne was designed to co-operate with other DOS applications
  17. when viewing documents of MIME types which are not built in.
  18. These "plug-ins" can for example view moovies, play sounds or
  19. convert complicated MIME types (like image/jpeg) to built in
  20. MIME or file types (like *.GIF or *.BMP). Arachne is also
  21. able to pass data from HTML query to applications,
  22. which understand <A HREF="dgi.txt">DGI (Dos Gateway Interface)</A>
  23. argument format (something like "offline CGI scripts").
