  63. *What is Shareware?

  68.   SHAREWARE is a software, for which the author when using it regulary,
  69.   receives a fee in return from the user. The concept for shareware was
  70.   born in the US and due to this new distribution system becoming very
  71.   quickly, wide spread and successful also in europ. This is a great
  72.   advantage for the author due to the many uses obtainable through his
  73.   program. The minimal costs involved for advertising and distribution
  74.   allow the programs to be registered with the author for a very small
  75.   licence fee.
  76.   For each shareware version, you shouldn`t pay more than 6 $ per disc.
  77.   In case you do pay more, you should look for a new shareware dealer,
  78.   other wise they, will possibly become rich at your expenses.
  79.  
  80.   The satisfied user is registered with the author, that enables him to
  81.   pay the lowest possible purchase price. At the same time he will ob-
  82.   tain a license for the product entitling him to obtain information
  83.   about improved versions, and possibly advice per telephone.
  84.   Shareware deals mostly with software, although it is not comparable
  85.   with commercial software, partly because the program performs
  86.   substaintially better, but, for a more reasonable price.

  88.   The shareware-concept functions only when you, as the user, are fair,
  89.   This will motivate him to maintain the program and pay him regulary
  90.   for his hard work. This will motivate him to maintain the programm

  98.   Public Domain are programes that are free to copy. It is the authors
  99.   intensions that these programmes receive a wide distribution.

  104.   them.  In  some  cases  the  authors are non-commercial or scientific
  105.   institutions who won't charge any fees.  In  most  cases  the  author
  106.   indicates in the program or in the documentation that he would like to
  107.   have a little finacial support to improve his developments.

  115.   to be distributed for license-free exploation use.

  119.   Preliminary Remark

  122.   Please notice that all the programes contained on the CD-ROM, are not
  123.   able to run directly on the CD-ROM drive. All programes are avaiable
  124.   in a compressed form and are decompressed during the copy process.
  125.   Furthermore, most of the programes need information about their hardware
  126.   and sofware environment, therefore they should be installed first. This
  127.   is not possible on a CD-ROM drive. We have developed a comfortable
  128.   menu system to simplify installation and copying. This menu system
  129.   will help you to copy the programes on your hard disc or floppy disc.

  135.   The main menu offers the option to choose one of the directories with
  136.   the blue choose bar. The dialog windows below show the contents and
  137.   description of each selected directory.

  198.   The next step is to choose a program you see and want to copy onto your
  199.   hard disc. This can be activated again with the [RETURN] key or the
  200.   mouse double click.

  202.   Now you have two windows avaiable:

  416.   After the confirmation of the input, a new directory will be recorded,
  417.   and you will find yourself in the new created directory.
