- This is a question is posed on the m68k newsgroup, with no
- response, before I figured out where this newsgroup is. I understand
- that Linux/m68k won't run on a stock 1200, no matter how big the
- hard drive, due to use of the 'EC' version of the 68020. What would be
- a basic set-up that would permit an Amiga 1200 to run Linux, and how
- much would it add to the cost of an A1200?
-
- It goes without saying that reports of personal experience
- with specific accelerator boards are even more useful than broad
- sweeping generalizations, but broad sweeping generalizations are
- better than nothing.
