- Folks,
-
- In the file InstGuide_v2.0a.txt, under the heading
- "5. A first check" (that tells how to do a quick
- check to see whether linux might work on one's system),
- the author says to get files:
-
- amiboot-<x.y>.gz
- vmlinux-<x.y>.gz
- new-filesys.gz
-
- However, I cannot find the file new-filesys.gz in
- tsx.mit.edu:/pub/linux/680x0
-
- Is there a new location for this file? Is it still
- possible to perform a "first check"?
-
- Thanks,
- John
