  14. I have got the version of dip from NetKit-A-0.06 and compiled
  15. it on my Amiga Linux 1.2.13pl4, A4000.  I am still having the
  16. same problem with the "Dip: tty: getc: I/O Error" message.  I have
  17. checked file permissions and fixed where necessary. I can use the
  18. modem fine under AmigaOS.

  20. I am at a loss as to where to look next to solve the problem.  Is
  21. anyone using Dip and the same kernel as me, preferrably on an A4000?
  22. Is dip working properly for you?

  24. Dip works correctly until it needs to read text responses from the
  25. modem.  Commands like WAIT and SEND seem to work ok.  I can provide
  26. more information upon request.
