- I would like to run a X11 GUI interface with at least 1024x768 resolution under
- either Linux or NetBSD. My question is which would be better to spend money
- on: upgrading the memory, disk, and graphics card on my A3000 or to get a
- pentium pc. My estimate is that I will spend about half on upgrading the A3000.
-
- What is the performance difference?
- Which platform has the better/more reliable releases?
- How much does SCSI vs IDE make a difference on a pc running netbsd or linux?
-
-
- Thanks for the insight.
