- Lets get to it. I revieved the Gateway! CD which has the NetBSD-1.0 on
- it. I have partitioned my Hard Drive, with the following mount list:

- First off, is this right. I removed the maxtransfer and the mask from
- each of them.
- Next, how important is the 688882 Motorola FPU for NetBSD? Is it
- necessary? If needed, is it possible to emulate the FPU (know of any
- software)?
-
- Assuming that the above is right, after typing loadbsd -b netbsd, it says
- that I have 4MB Fast and 1MB Chip (But I have 6MB Fast= 2MB Simm + 4MB in
- my Hard Drive). The screen then goes light gray and sits there, it seems
- that it crashes. Anyone know WHY?????
-
- Does Linux need an FPU (just in case I can't get this thing working)??
-
- Thanks for any help possible,
