- Hello there.
-
- I was reading the recent version of the NetBSD 1.1
- FAQ and was pleased to hear that there is now non-contiguous
- memory support. Great!!
-
- I assume that if I compile a kernel with the appropriate
- build options I can make use of my 8meg of motherboard SC ZIP ram
- as well as any memory I place on my fastlane board.
- ( Providing I get the damn thing to work when I install it)
-
- I'd like to have 8meg on the fastlane board as well.
-
- My main question is: Is there a noticeable difference in speed
- between contig. and non-contig. ?
-
- thanks,
-
- Yemi
