  13. I'm using NetBSD-1.1
  14. The c-compiler which is included is gcc-2.4.5...
  15. I can get the binaries of version 2.7.0...
  16. Should I upgrade? I've heard that I can't compile a working kernel with
  17. other(?) versions than 2.4.5.
  18. If this is true, then why not... can I expect other problems when I upgrade
  19. to a newer version of GCC?
  20.  
  21. If I do upgrade, what else than, the binaries of gcc-2.7.0 on various
  22. ftp-sites, do I need to download?
