-
- : I have a few questions:
- : - Is it possible to boot NetBSD with a normal NTSC/PAL screen?
- : When I use 'loadbsd netbsd' I get an interlaced screen :(
-
- You have an A1200, that is you have AGA, use :
- loadbsd -a netbsd
- to get a dblpal-alike screen.
-
- : - On Linux it is possible to use virtual consoles... is it also possible on
- : NetBSD?
-
- No, and as I've heard there's no interest for it among the developers as
- long there is screen, besides what you want that for, dount you run X ? :P
-
- : - On my Unix-account on the university I use 'csh' as my default shell.
- : I did this too on NetBSD, but when I press the cursorkeys I just get weird

- : pressing these keys.
-
- Yup, another dumb thing with NetBSD. Why there isnt a better default
- shell, I dunno. I've installed bash, and set /bin/bash as shell for root
- with vipw, but I always get complaines about "unknown rootshell" even
- though its no problems using it.
