- Has anyone had trouble /dev/reloading a recompiled kernel under 1.1? (I think
- I had the same problem under 1.0 as well.)
-
- The kernel produces a black screen and system freeze when copied into
- /dev/reload. I used a few more options than the generic 3000 CONFIG (NFS etc),
- and a lot less than the GENERIC (only installed ECS/C=SCSI support).
-
- Since BFS 1.3/4 don't work with the new 64-bit FS, I can't grab the kernel
- image over to AmigaDOS and load it from there. Darn.
-
- BTW my system is a 3000 with 18 meg RAM and plenty of HD. I suspect it may
- be a problem with the options I compiled into the custom kernel. Hm...
-
- Thanks for any help in advance. kassal@en.ecn.purdue.edu
