  12. I have a problem with the 1.2 series of kernels and my new 1 gig Seagate 
  13. IDE HDD.

  15. Bascially the new kernels cannot write to it. If I try mkfs.ext2, the 
  16. program stops when trying to make inode number 4 or 5.

  18. My drive works with 0.9 kernels however. Does anyone know of a way to fix 
  19. this please?
