  11. I am trying to compile GNU fortran 77 on an A3000UX running AMIX 2.1p2a.
  12. The C compiler is GCC 2.7.2.  When it tries to link-edit, I get the 
  13. message:

  18. Does anyone know what this error means?

  20. The object (.o) files total about 7.7 MB, but there may be files/libraries
  21. in other directories that I am not counting.  I have 16 MB of RAM -- I 
  22. could believe that 16 MB isn't enough.  I have a 32 MB swap space and about 
  23. 500 MB still available on my hard drive.

  25. Does anyone have GNU fortran 77 working on an A3000UX?
