- There is always hope.
-
- I have the development environment set up using a 486 to cross-compile
- the code. I have been having some strange equipment problems recently
- that cause some kernel compiles to work and at other times they won't
- boot. I am at the point where the card is recognized and I am working
- on the details of initializing the controller chip and installing an
- interrupt handler so I can begin trying to scan the SCSI bus for
- devices.
-
- I am operating on basically no documentation at this point other than
- some code for a device driver from NetBSD for a different board which
- uses a similar (compatible?) controller chip. I am expecting some
- information from Michael Sherman with some details on the controller
- chip which should help.
-
- If anyone can point me in the direction of some more details on the
- hardware of the Oktagon board it would be most helpful.
-
-
- Cheers!
