  17. If you are running xdm:
  18.    ps x |grep xdm
  19.    This will find the processnumber for xdm; kill it! (kill -9 proc#)

  21. then press control-alt-backspace
  22. this will quit out of Xdaniver.

  24. If you don't kill xdm first it will restart the windowmanager as soon
  25. as it quits.
