  11. OK, I installed NetBSD-1.1 from scratch, and followed
  12. the instructions to the letter. With HDtoolbox I
  13. created the partitions and set up custom filesystem.
  14. Now I discover that I'll need to get BFFS working if
  15. I want to get access to new kernels to boot. So I study on
  16. the BFFS documentation and worry about the following:

  18. 1.  If I install BFFS on a partition that already has the
  19.     NetBSD-1.1 root files on it, will I have to first dump
  20.     the filesystem then restore it following the BFFS
  21.     installation?

  23. 2. There's mention of the BSD 4.4 version of the
  24.    filesystem. I used the NetBSD utilities to
  25.    create the filesystems and they show up as
  26.    version 4.2 when I do a disklabel command. 
  27.    Is that what a BFFS file system looks like on
  28.    the NetBSD-1.1 side?

  30. I guess what I'm asking is, what are the steps to convert a
  31. running NeTBSD-1.1 over to one using BFFS filesystems.
