  23. The fast answer is that Motif is a commercial product, and costs about
  24. $10,000 for a source license, and about $50 for each runtime license,
  25. and nobody's ported it to NetBSD yet.  The binaries for Mosaic are
  26. available because someone built them on SunOS with a statically linked
  27. Motif library.

  29. The slow answer is that there is a Motif clone called lesstif, but
  30. it's still pretty much an alpha product, and core dumps frequently
  31. with complex programs like Mosaic.  Off hand, I don't remember
  32. where it can be found, but it's in the comp.windows.x.motif FAQ.
