  19. Well, theoretically it is possible just because a particular computer
  20. just has a finite number of states. But as I wrote, that's not an answer
  21. because it might take a very long time to complete.

  23. But then the problem is a different one. Nobody needs to recompile
  24. arbitrary programs. You just need to recompile the limited set of
  25. programs generated by todays programming languages. And then it is
  26. not trivial but still easy to decipher the output of a particular
  27. compiler.
