  23. One who has tried the demo told me that you had to use only the
  24. supplied environment, everything depended on that. That means
  25. that you can't use your favourite text editor with the
  26. environment, as it is more thightly woven than SAS/C's.

  28. Now, something I wonder myself. It does support C++ and my
  29. questions are:

  31.     Anybody tried it with C++?
  32.     How does it perform in C++?
  33.     Does it do exception handling correctly?
  34.     Does it support templates correctly (templates as arguments to
  35. templates, etc.)?
  36.     Will the STL (Standard Template Library) work with StormC/C++?
  37.     Does StormC/C++ compile MUI programs or not (I saw a posting
  38. concerning this)?
  39.     How is the debugger?
  40.     How is it's editor (does cut, copy and paste recide on the
  41. standard keys, has it the usual programming stuff (bracket
  42. highlightning, find prototypes, show all used classes etc.?))?

  44. I hope someone can answer these questions, and if you have tried
  45. Symantec C++ or Visual C++ then a comparision would be
  46. appriciated (as we could use that to make H&P make a better
  47. compiler/environment), as I have heard much good about the
  48. Symantec environment.
