- : Well, I do agree with this. AGA is just too old to be starting point for a
- : new custom chipset. It make it very difficult, make the price go way and maket
- : the new design take far too long.
-
- don't forget the chipram bandwidth record is hold by a ECS Amiga.
- huh, ECS ? Yes, the A3000, 7mb/sec _copy_ speed with help of a
- buffer. So not the chipset needs a change, just put some ICs around
- it.
- Don't need no new chipset. need a clever aga-board.
-
- BTW you could use a 100Hz TV for flickerfree 640x512, much quicker
- wb-scrolling than 640x512 DBLPAL. maybe those TVs get cheaper soon ?
- for AGA they are better than monitors unless you really need a 1280 mode.

- : into a set not designed with anything like that in mind would seem to me
- : to be more difficult than starting from scratch, however someone

-
- copper is nice, but I would not mind working on a card where screens
- are just switched with Amiga-M. Drag is nice for comparing screen
- contents, though.
