- Jesus Christ ... what about MUI apps which save every and each move of
- the windows ?
-
- : >There are tools that set up $TIME, $DATE every second. Sounds quite funny,
- : >when ENV: is on your drive. Besides that, ENV: on hd simply sucks !
-
- I never saw such ones ...maybe because I have no clock.
-
- : >And programmers suck, which store every bull**** in ENV:.
- : >S: would be perfect for more than the half of all my ENV: stuff.
-
- Yeah, they sucks ... but they seem just to follow Commodore (?) programming
- style.
-
- : No no no! S: is for scripts! I hate programs that fill my S: with
- : prefs-files, hiscorelists (!) and lots of other junk. I think that programs
- : should put related data and settings in PROGDIR: (like the program "Proggy"
- : and its prefsfile PROGDIR:Proggy.prefs). ENVARC/ENV should only be used if
- : there is a "Save" AND "Use" button where you set the preferences.
-
- Yep, S: shouldn't be trashed with such things as well. Trashing in S: is not
- better than in ENV: ...in the drive or RAM:
-
- : >Every file >500 bytes does not belong to ENV: Okay, let's give it a 1000
- : >bytes. But not more !
-
- This is strange wondering, regarding one block of Ram Disk takes 1024 bytes.
- Anyway another 1024 for file header ...and it sucks like hell.
-
- : I agree with that, but I dont let them programmers put the stuff in S:
- : Thats the eleventh commandment 8^)
-
- They should throw everything in PROGDIR: ... or better idea in icon tooltypes.
