  32. Very good, very good indeed.  But did I understand correctly that the
  33. CD is going to have more material than the FTP site?  Then I might be
  34. convinced to get myself a CDROM drive as well...

  36. Since the CDROM is going to have lots of room anyway, could we then
  37. please have the autodocs in HTML format in there as well?  And how
  38. about the Inet225 developer docs?  Is that owned by AT so that you
  39. could put those there as well?

  41. BTW, I suppose this means that there is not going to be any major
  42. updates of the AmigaOS before the PowerPC-upgrade and 4.0?  No real
  43. RTG/RTS until then?

  48. Hmm... Would it be possible/feasible to spread some of those developer
  49. CDs down to the dealer chain, so that it would be as easy as possible
  50. to get hold of those CDs?  I am not sure if very many beginning c0drz
  51. wish to see the trouble of buying them directly from AT... Also, it
  52. might be a good idea to give permission to some Amiga magazine to
  53. spread it as a Cover-CD (but it may be legally difficult, I don't
  54. know), which would ensure a large circulation.

  56. You see, I firmly believe AT requires all the developers it can get
  57. now, so by making sure developer info is readily available, people can
  58. easily start writing new software.  I believe Be Inc's example is very
  59. good in this area.

  65. coming along?  I believe the natives are getting restless =)
