  13. CDXL isn't a file format as such, it's a transfer mechanism for CDTV and 
  14. CD32.

  16. What I guess you mean is the PAN format CDXL video streams. These are 
  17. pretty much just raw bitplane data with a little header and gaps for 
  18. audio. No compression, it's about as simple a format as you could 
  19. possibly get (although it does allow for multi-palette animation and even 
  20. different frame sizes).

  23. particular questions about the format I'll do my best to answer them.
