  23. Hmmm, good point. I have the 256K mem expansion giving 512K Chip Mem + 
  24. 1.5Meg Fast mem. I don't know if the 512 Chip would handle the ROM. I 
  25. recently found someone selling their Rejuvenator board with 2.04 ROM and 
  26. the ECS w/2 Meg Chip for $150. It's real tempting, but I have to keep my 
  27. focus (and my pocketbook) on my A3000. I just thought it would be neat to 
  28. spiff up the ol' A1000 without any great expense since i really no longer 
  29. use it.

  31. Okay, a different angle. Is there an inexpensive way to use my old 2.04 
  32. ROM chips from the A3000 on the A1000 motherboard? I bet the answer is 
  33. no. I expect that to do this, I'll at least need to get some sort of ROM 
  34. board. But I'm not really so sure the A3000 ROMs would even work in an 
  35. A1000 anyway.
