  11. The Amiga Technologies Installer V42 will be released to the public
  12. really soon now. Obviously it should be reasonably compatible to
  13. existing scripts and not have any bugs. This might be of
  14. special interest to developers currently using Installer.

  16. If you are interested in doing an in depth test of Installer V42
  17. for a few days, please mail to <heinz@amiga.de> and mention
  18. Installer V42 in the subject. Experienced testers who are
  19. capable of writing decent bug reports are preferred. :^)

  21. Installer V42 definitely won't work on OS <2.04.
  22.  
  23. The current feature set has been frozen, so don't think too much
  24. about enhancement requests. It is unlikely that important new
  25. features will be added before the release date.
