- During a disk write, the power went out and on reboot, I get
- a validation failure on my SCSI disk. This is NOT a FFS mounted
- volume, and diskdoctor completed it's usual work with the usual
- message about copying the files and reformatting, a less than
- desirable course due to some 350 Megs. Since the hard disk
- is not writeable, I can't even create large tarfiles to shoot over a serial
- port to the UNIX box.
-
- The only error message I get is that a "key" is already set preventing
- validation.
-
- There has to be SOME other way to restore the disk without needing
- 350 floppies to do so.
-
- Help! This is my wife's music system.
