  22. other than power & ground connections.  No logic.

  24. You *must* have some type of board to "bridge" between the Amiga logic
  25. bus and the ISA slots, hence the term, "bridgeboard."

  27. This "bridgeboard" can be quite complex (C= Bridgeboards, which had,
  28. essentially, entire IBM PC clones on them) or simple logic bridges
  29. (GoldenGate II).

  38. You simply cannot do this, as explained above.

  40. It can be done relatively cheaply, as with the GoldenGate II ($120, or
  41. so), but you absolutely have to have a bridge of some sort, or all the
  42. PC cards do when you plug them in is suck power from the system.

  44. Of course, the GoldenGate II already comes with software to drive several
  45. different PC cards, such as NE2000 Ethernet cards (about $20), serial and
  46. parallel cards, etc., etc.
