  29. Well, some people got the oppinion, just if there is a Kickstart port
  30. on the machine, then it's a Amiga (even a ZX Spectrum ;)

  32. Maybe telling "without the chipset it's no Amiga" is too much,
  33. and my subjetive opinion is that a Amiga never will contain
  34. a intel cpu ;) but a real Amiga should have:

  36. some timer
  37. some vblank interrupt
  38. the expandable models also should have some zorro slots.
  39. kickstart in rom gives Amiga-quick-reboot feeling after a guru ;)
  40. the gfx-card should be able to do PAL/NTSC framerates.

  42. Imho there is a quite serious way in testing for Amiga:
