- Hi folks,
- with very much interest I followed your discussion about
- AGA-hardware-programming. I've tried this, too, but I really got BIG problems
- to determine the correct values for DDFSTRT and DDFSTOP. I know they depend on
- the DIWSTRT and STOP values, on the resolution (LO/HI/SUPERHI-RES) and also on
- the burstmode settings. Especially with the latter I have absolutely no clue
- how!
- Then secondly there are the displaymodulos. If I align my planewidth to 64 and
- using a displayresolution divisible by 64 (e.g. 704) everything should work
- fine with modulos = zero,no matte which burstmode I choose, shouldn't it?
- Is there anybody knowing a formula how to code this? For OCS there is one, but
- I guess it has to be more than slightly modified to fit AGA needs. I know the
- AGA-guide which is found somewhere in the Aminet, but it just tells, what the
- registers are for, but leaves out which values make sense and how they depend
- .. Is there anybody being able to help me?
