  19. Using the clipboard with MEmacs at all comes as a surprise to me -
  20. That Amiga-V works within MEmacs is not documented in the manual.

  22. Anyway, I suppose your problem occurs when the line in which the
  23. cursor is when you press Amiga-V is indented. This is because LFs
  24. in the pasted text are apparently handled as if the Enter key on
  25. the numeric keypad was pressed: Indentation is automatically main-
  26. tained for the next line.
