- What if you were to hardcode your bitplanes based on a 2Mb chip memory
- configuration and do a MOVE A0,$110000. It's not a bug; it functions as
- specified. But it perhaps crashes the next Amiga (same model, just 1Mb chip
- less). So it's not a bug, but just CRAPPY CODE. That's what Michael is
- talking about. Don't degrade yourself by this silly mistake. You're too easy.

-
- That's right, and I never even TRY to run demo's anymore.
-

-
- If you want to ignore that an Amiga with a Retina is still an Amiga, then you
- probably want to see the Amiga die. A Retina is as much an expansion as a
- different processor. Why did you buy the 1200 anyway, it is NOT an Amiga,
- only the Amiga 1000 really is, using your ruling. Stating the Amiga is not an
- Amiga just points out your inability to program it. Oh my gosh, another
- hardware change! Now I'll have to reprogram all my demos!
-

-
- Hit the hardware, but don't expect your software to be taken seriously, or
- make the Amiga any more to be taken seriously, for that matter.
-
- Sorry to have wasted bandwidth on yet another flame-mail. Just couldn't
- resist!)
