- Howdy!
-
- I`m very interested in games programming.
- No problem - if it was to program ECS - I`ve got plenty of infos about it,
- including the Hardware Reference Manual, several Books and loads of
- demonstartion sources.
- My problem is, I want to utilize the abilities of the AGA chipset.
- Unfortunately, there`s NOTHING available about it (AFAIK).
-
- I don`t want to simply hack through any AGA registers - I`m REALLY
- INTERESTED IN LEARNING TO WRITE "CLEAN" code as far as this is possible.
- So, is there any way for me to obtain the needed information ? Or do only
- "known" programmers/software houses get those infos - that wouldn`t make
- much sense, would it ?
-
- Hopefully, I`ll soon find a way into this as it`s quite annoying to have
- some IMHO nice ideas and EVERY kind of Hard-/Software tool you can think of
- (see below!), but no support with needed info material (or should I learn
- ECS programming and try to figure out the AGA enhancements by reading all
- those more-or-less useful selfmade manuals - NOT SO GOOD if you you ask
- me).
-
- OK, enough text - in fact I feel quite sleepy so please excuse if this text
- is a bit confusing.
-
- Many thanks in advance!

- PS. I`ve invested quite much (money AND effort) to expand my lovely amiga.
- As a result, I`ve got anything that would be useful e.g. for games
- programming (Imagine for nice anims, an XP-50 for any kind of good in-
- game music, the latter one combined with a "soon to be ours" CD Writer
- -> enabling making of prototypes of CD based games including CDAudio,
- loads of different machines to perform compatibility tests AND SO ON!
- Any, most important of all, I`ve got quite nice ideas for several kinds
- of games...
