  38. 14" MONITTOR M1438S with stereo amplifier and loudspeakers.  The
  39. A4000T is somewhat new, having SCSI and a new case.  HUGE
  40. disapointment: It comes with DD floppies! (can't be true!?).

  44. The price for the A1200 is almost decent.  The price for the A4000 is
  45. not.  Important point:  There was a HUGE demand and the price reflects
  46. this.  Better to have a stable AT with some funds.

  50. Yes and no.  Former developers are not contacted as far as I know, but
  51. AT has a new developer-program that seems to be very good.  I haven't
  52. seen anything on the web-pages about it.

  59. Well, firstly the PPC processor will make it as fast as the 80x86 (and
  60. faster).  AT seems to focus on OS features to get the attention of
  61. buyers, but no advertising has been seen.  Making the PowerAmiga CHRP
  62. (or PPCP) conformant gives the buyer a choice witch OS he wishes to
  63. run, and a MUCH wider range of software.  Amiga can run MacOS now, but
  64. when it can run OS/2 etc. it will be a more attractive machine.  On
  65. the other hand:  If I can buy an IMB or Apple and run AmigaDOS on it,
  66. why would I buy an Amiga?
