The Amiga and its net-users have to join the mainstream. The "mainstream"
decided a long time ago that the best way to get security fixes installed
was to make sure the problems -- as well as the solutions -- were known,
_very_ well-known.

The mainstream also decided a long time ago that EMail Shall Not Update.
It's a mantra, repeat it many times to yourself.

Before someone trots out Java -- Java V2 is designed to be safe. Much of
the development time spent in Java has been spent trying to figure out
how to make it safe. V1 didn't meet that objective, that's why there is
a significantly changed V2.
