- I suggest that you read what I wrote. The movep instruction was
- intended for 6800 style I/O chips. These 6800 style I/O chips
- cannot be used easily with the 68040 and 68060 because of the
- 32bit synchronous bus. Even 68020 and 68030 require external
- circuitry for the E-clock but these can at least deal with 8bit
- chips while the 68040 and 68060 can't.

- This is independent on wether a movep instruction is actually
- implemented in the 68040 (it is) or 68060 (it is not).
