  30. But, huh, who cares about thieving the DOCS while they are unavailable. And,
  31. huh, maybe we will get them on CDR for a reasonable price in the short future,
  32. anyway. But maybe I'm just dreaming about a good world. Shit, I mean the
  33. fascination about the AMIGA is that there is soooo much GOOD Software available
  34. for FREE, because of the PD-Scene. And the PD Programmers need DOCS. And they
  35. have the bloody right to have DOCS. And if they can't  get them legally,
  36. because THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE, they have to help themselves. And hey, the
  37. whole OFFICIAL FUCKIN' CERTIFIED DEVELOPERS thing is a bit of crap, because it
  38. creates a two class developers world. If I would be AT, I would handle it this
  39. way: Making ALL Information about the OS and Hardware available to anyone (On
  40. Paper AND as a CD...Maybe as a SET...) and updating it repeatedly via PD. And
  41. all the other stuff you can get as a CERTIFIED...like OS Betas and Hardware
  42. BETAS and stuff... just give it to a few WELL Known and famous Programmers from
  43. the companies and from the PD Scene. So you don't have to bother about this
  44. CERTIFIED shit. I mean AT would have to loose the DEVELOPERS FEE, but the
  45. financial balance of AT shouldn't rely on it, anyway... :)

  47. Making Information Available is sometimes quite dangerous, but I can't see any
  48. danger in this case...And it would surely give the PD Scene a positive kick,
  49. because there are a lot of programmers sitting at their AMI optimizing "Hello
  50. World" to death, just because they have no documentation and so they cannot do
  51. any OS stuff...
  52. Not to forget that the general safety of the OS would increase because more
  53. programmers would suddenly start to program using intuition.library and not
  54. programming by intuition. Some of the resident "Certified"'s here are always
  55. fast to point all the mistakes that we make and that we are dangerous because
  56. we do not obey the rules. But how should one obey the rules, if one don't know
  57. them. Making the GUIDE Version of the RKM's and the AUTODOCS available for free
  58. really could help, believe me. But, on the other hand...If this would happen,
  59. all the Certified's can't complain about broken rules anymore. C.S.A.P could be
  60. quite boring for them, then... :)

  65.     Developers. But sometimes I think they have a kindalike ELITE
  66.     feeling...(In a very negative way...). As I said RTFM makes no sense if
  67.     there are no FM's, OK ?

  69. PPS: Yeah, you guessed it. Uhhh, I'm illegal. But now I can start
  70.      programming. Otherwise I would have occupied my fathers PC and would
  71.      have started doing some fly PC-SHIT like my ASCII-Blaster-Project.
