  25. No, you are not correct on this.  The Super Denise just enables the use 
  26. of several other screenmodes, it does nothing for the flicker in Laced 
  27. modes.  The only way to solve the flicker problem is with a flicker 
  28. fixer.  For 2000s, that involves either the C= A2320 or Microway 
  29. flicker fixers.  For 500s, I believe the Microway flicker fixer can be 
  30. installed, since it doesn't use the video slot but is inserted between 
  31. the Denise chip and the motherboard.  You'd probably have to cut a hole 
  32. in the case for the monitor connection (but I'm not sure on that part) 
  33. and the fit may be a bit on the tight side if you have any other 
  34. expansions inside the case, but I do seem to remember several 
  35. acquaintances having installed one.
