- Agreed. Depends on what you want it for. I'm interested in a Jaz drive
- because I want to run multiple OSes on my A3000. The current disks I have
- just don't cut it for space (157MB on two disks), and while I can add two
- 1gig drives for almost the same price as the Jaz, that would leave me with a
- couple of problems:
-
- 1) No more slots on my external tower
- 2) No more SCSI IDs available
-
- I look at the Jaz as a way of having multiple 1gig drives - without having
- to install all of them at once.

- Actually for backups, adding another disk drive tends to lead people to save
- data onto it. A tape drive is a better solution - if you're sole use is for
- backups (IMHO).
