  4. YASS! is not just 'Yet Another Screen Saver'.  It is distributed with source 
  5. code to allow anyone who is familiar with Presentation Manager programming to 
  6. easily develop their own screen saver modules. 
  7.  
  8. YASS! is a shareware product.  It represents many hours of effort by the 
  9. author.  If you use and enjoy it on a regular basis, then register your copy 
  10. today.

  13. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Installing new modules ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
  14.  
  15. New YASS! screen saver modules should each be installed into their own 
  16. subdirectory off of the directory in which YASS! is located.  This subdirectory 
  17. should have the same name as that of the new screen saver module.

  19. Example - the module 'coil.dll' is located in '\yass\coil'.

  22. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Settings ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  24. The Settings window, accessed from the Options pull-down menu, is where you can 
  25. set up YASS! to your own needs. 
  26.  
  27. Normally you would want the screen saver to be enabled, but if for some reason 
  28. you don't want the screen saver to activate, then set 'Saver Activated' to 
  29. 'No'. 
  30.  
  31. If you don't want to see the screen saver when it is first started, then set 
  32. 'Startup hidden' to 'Yes', otherwise set it to 'No'.

  34. The screen saver activates based on the amount of time that passes between 
  35. input from the user (either keyboard or mouse).  Use the 'Delay' spinbutton to 
  36. set this amount of time, or type a time (in seconds) directly into the provided 
  37. entry field.

  39. Several screen saver modules are provided with YASS!  Use the 'Selection' 
  40. listbox to set which module will be used the next time the screen saver 
  41. activates.

  43. Each of the above settings are saved between times that the screen saver 
  44. program is run.

  49. The 'Credits' menu provides an opportunity for authors of screen saver modules 
  50. to take credit for their work, and to tell you anything they want to about the 
  51. currently selected screen saver module.
