  18.  
  19. This is a suite of six utility programs for OS/2.  
  20.  
  21. They are...

  23. Hex File Display - Display, search, print files in hex dump format
  24. INI Browser - Display and print OS/2 INI file contents
  25. EA Browser - Display and print extended attributes, extract icons
  26. Event Scheduler - Schedule programs, reminders, and alarms.  Play digital audio, more...
  27. Unzip Helper - Browse zip files and extract files using drag/drop,
  28. Zip Helper - Create zip files using drag/drop.  Preview zip file size, more...
  29.  
  30. Also included are two bonus programs, DayBreak! and DayBreak File Maintenance.
  31. Use them to display bitmaps, play digital audio, amaze and annoy friends and co-workers!
  32. These programs may be unpacked upon your paid registration of this software.

  38. (02) Installation
  39.  
  40. This software package is distributed as a self-extracting zip file, R2.EXE.
  41.  
  42. To install you should...
  43.  
  44. (a) Copy the self-extracting zip file R2.EXE to a new working directory.
  45.    After the install process has been completed, you may safely delete all of the
  46.    work files in this directory.
  47.  
  48. (b) From a DOS window or full screen session, make the newly created directory
  49.    the current directory.  Then type 'R2'.  This will extract the files necessary for the
  50.    installation process to the working directory. 
  51.  
  52. (c) From an OS/2 window or full screen session,type 'Install'.
  53.    You will be prompted for a directory name which will be the target of the installation
  54.    process.
  55.  
  56. The installation program will provide you with a registration number.  You will need
  57. this number should you decide to register (purchase) your copy of this software.

  63. (03) Machine requirements
  64.  
  65. This software was tested using an Intel based 486DX33 with 8M extended memory.
  66. This is the minimum configuration on which these programs will exhibit acceptable 
  67. performance.
  68.  
  69. Any additional memory beyond the minimum of 8M will significantly boost overall
  70. performance.
  71.  
  72. A sound card, if detected, will be used by several of the programs included in
  73. this package.

  75. For compatability with the greatest number of existing systems, it is assumed that 
  76. the FAT file system is used.
