MyPulse V0.33:
--------------
MyPulse is a CPU monitor much like Pulse which is shipping with
OS/2.
The program was developed using emx0.9a (GCC 2.6.3). The file
emx.dll (version 0.9a or newer, 0.9a is contained in the MyPulse
archive, but you should be able to ftp it from hobbes.nmsu.edu
and many other ftp sites when needed) has to reside in a
directory contained in your LIBPATH.
You can invoke a popup menu using the usual mechanism (defaults to
right mouse button). Selecting 'Settings' opens a dialog which
enables you to choose both the sampling time and the amount of
smoothing (1=no smoothing). The status of the quick indicator which
displays the amount of CPU utilization during the latest second can
be deactivated. In addition it lets you toggle the titlebar; this
can also be achieved by double-clicking in the main window.
The window can be drag-moved as any other object even when the
titlebar is off.
You can customize the background and graph color by drag'n'dropping
colors from the color palette. As usual hold CTRL to change the
foreground color. All these settings (including the window size
and position) are saved in the user ini (defaults to \os2\os2.ini)
file under 'MyPulse' upon exit.
This version of the program is considered 'beta'. So if you
experience any anomalies please feel free to contact me via email.
Suggestions on how to improve the program and all sorts of
comments are also welcome. You should be able to reach me here:
