  6. ABOUT MSE:
  7. =========

  9. MSE is designed to make mousing about the old desktop a bit easier.  It
  10. allows you to assign various commands to your mouse buttons with or
  11. without keyboard modifiers.  It also provides optional clipboard
  12. management and extension, swapfile monitor, desktop clock, virtual
  13. desktops, screen capture, file dialog enhancement and some other
  14. mouse-related options.  Sorry, kitchen sink not included.  MSE requires
  15. OS/2 Warp (3.x+) or better.

  17. MSE is page-tuned, which means that any parts you don't use don't take
  18. up valuable memory, and seldom-used parts take up memory only while in
  19. actual use, and can then be swapped out until the next use.  IOW, it
  20. plain old fashioned doesn't use any more memory than absolutely
  21. necessary at any given time.

  35. Run the provided INSTALL.CMD program to do all the installation work for
  36. you.

  39. UNINSTALLING:

  42. The UNINSTAL.CMD can remove MSE from your system automagically for
  43. you, if you decide to do so later.

  48. sections of this file, accessible by clicking the various [?] buttons.

  54. MSE can be registered through BMT Micro, and costs a mere twenty-five
  55. bucks.  See the REGISTER.TXT included in the archive for details, or
  56. take a look under the "Registration and license" help topic in MSE.INF.

  62. If MSE gives you an error message, please write it down and send it to
  63. me, together with any other information you think might be helpful (the
  64. more the better).  I'll do what I can to help you out, but you have to
  65. help _me_ with that error message, verbatim, please!  I made 'em short
  66. to make it easier.  Of course, information like which version of OS/2
  67. you're running, what fixpacks are installed, what you did just before
  68. the problem showed up, if and how you can repeat it, etc. will be useful
  69. and appreciated.
