  5. IDEA (International Data Encryption Algorithm)  is  a  block
  6. cipher  developed  by  Dr.  Xuejia  Lai  and Prof. Dr. J. L.
  7. Massey at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.

  9. The executable contained in the archive was compiled on 09/29/94 by
  10. Ralf G. R. Bergs <rabe@pool.informatik.rwth-aachen.de> using the
  11. emx 0.8h development system. It needs the two DLLs 'EMXLIBC.DLL'
  12. and 'EMX.DLL', available thru the usual sources. The executable
  13. passes the "make test" tests (otherwise I wouldn't distribute
  14. it :-)

  16. Both the executable and this file contain my PGP signature. My
