PRIMEOS2.EXE
This is the OS/2 version of the Mersenne prime program by George
Woltman.
Version 3.3.1 contains the functionality of the 18.1.2 version of
George's program for Linux (mprime). It has full PRIMENET support
(including the proxy-support with or without basic authentication).
For more information see the readme.txt and whatsnew.txt files of the
Linux version included in this archive.
NOTE for those upgrading from a previos version.
The menu items have changed numbers because of the new Testing/ECM
Changes
=======

At least on my system priority 0 does not function good, but there

in stead of 1

System requirements
===================
OS/2 WARP or newer is required.
OS/2 specifics
==============
To determine whether a network is available I am using the HOST
utility, which is part of the OS/2 network software. I assume it to be
in the PATH. If this does not work at your site, please contact me.
The setting of priorities has been changed and is now equivalent to
the Linux version. Priorities range from 1-10. Priorities 1-9 all run
in IDLE_TIME priority with the 'delta' evenly distributed between 1
and 31. Priority 10 is REGULAR priority, the default priority for
programs on OS/2. Unless you have a good reason leave the priority on
1, this guarantees the least intereference with normal operation. Note
that changing the priority is only effective until after a restart of
the program.
