  6. Assuming everyone is like me, i.e. I use the tool first, 
  7. read the documentation second, I RECOMMEND YOU AT THE
  8. VERY LEAST READ THE FOLLOWING SECTION IN PLANETS.INF:
  9. o "Quick Introduction" under "Using Planets"  (for a quick intro)
  10. If you are upgrading/replacing a previous version:
  11. o "Versions" under "About Planets"            (for fixes info)
  12. If you are having problems starting/using Planets:
  13. o "Common Questions" under "About Planets"    (for Q&A)

  20. Program Description
  21. -------------------
  22. Planets combines the eye-pleasing graphics of a spinning
  23. planetary mass with the usefulness of a clock, day of
  24. the week/date information, and system information. 
  25.  
  26. Planets is Freeware. There is no registration, although
  27. I would greatly appreciate user feedback.

  46.                 If you do not have this file, or downloaded the ZIP without
  47.                 VROBJ.DLL contained within it, VROBJ.DLL can be found in
  48.                 GO WATCOM on Compuserve or on most OS/2 Bulletin Board Systems.
  49.                 Planets requires version 2.1b of the DLL.

  51. Installation
  52. ------------
  53. To install Planets, place the unzipped files in whatever directory you
  54. wish (perhaps C:\UTILS\PLANETS).  Next do one of the following:
  55.   o Open the file folder for the PLANETS subdir and double-click on INSTALL.CMD
  56.   o Open an OS/2 Window, change to C:\UTILS\PLANETS, then type INSTALL.CMD
  57.  
  58. Note: If you are installing over an 1.x version of Planets,
  59.       Please delete PLANETS.INI before installing.
  60.  
  61. The install will do the following:
  62.   o Create a Planets Folder with your Planets essential icons
  63.  
  64. The installation program and Planets both require that the OS/2 REXX support
  65. be installed.  If REXX support is not installed, you will need to do an OS/2
  66. Selective Install and install REXX support before installing Planets.
  67.  
  68. Note: If you are upgrading from a previous version of the program, make sure
  69.       that the old version of the program has been shut down before running
  70.       the installation program.

  72. If for some reason the Planets program objects should be accidentally
  73. deleted, re-run Install.cmd
  74.  
  75. Starting the program
  76. --------------------
  77. Open Planets folder, double-click on Planets.
