  3. Installing and running LogoArt
  4. ==============================

  6. This package consists of following files:
  7.  
  8.    - lart20.zip,  the core-program plus demo ini-files
  9.    - lartbm.zip,  bitmaps necessary to run the samples
  10.                   (you dont necessarily need these, but you would have to edit 
  11.                   the ini-files in lart20.zip with your own images in order
  12.                    to run the samples).
  13.    - lartpa.zip,  the standard pattern-dlls
  14.                   (you dont need necessarily these, but you will have to edit
  15.                   the ini-files and give your own pattern-bitmaps to run the
  16.                   samples).

  18.    It is recommended that you dowload all the files, copy them to a directory
  19.    of your choice, unzip the files and update the LIBPATH in the config.sys
  20.    with this directory, (or alternatively copy the dlls to "\os2\dll") to run 
  21.    the shows.

  23.    NOTE: if you downloaded the 1st version of LogoArt, then you dont need to
  24.          download the pattern-dlls (lartpa.zip). They are the same.

  26.    To start enter:
  27.  
  28.    1) Logoart <CR>, click the right-mouse button, select panel-load, choose
  29.                  from the ini-files listed and select a panel.
  30.  
  31.    2) you can do the same form the cmd-line:
  32.       LogoArt <panel-name> <ini-file>
  33.  
  34.    3) To run a show enter
  35.       Logoart startup show.ini      (old show from the 1st Release).

  37.    If you get an error then probably you are missing some dlls or bitmaps. Also
  38.    notice that if you have a 640x480 monitor then you may need to adjust the
  39.    size of the fonts in order to get them right on the monitor.
