  1.       README.TXT for ENVELOGO for OS/2
  2.  
  3. Create a directory for ENVELOGO for OS/2.  If you have
  4. the ENVELOGO files in their uncompressed form, copy them
  5. all into this directory.
  6.  
  7. If you have a zipped file containing the ENVELOGO for
  8. OS/2 files, copy the zipped file into it.  Now you
  9. can unzip the file.  (If it is a self-extracting EXE
  10. file, just run it.)
  11.  
  12. Documentation for ENVELOGO for OS/2 is contained
  13. in the file ENVELOGO.INF.  To see the documentation
  14. in the simplest way, from an OS/2 window, change to
  15. the ENVELOGO directory and type VIEW ENVELOGO.

  17. The documentation will appear, and may be printed
  18. out if desired.  Of course, you may wish to add an
  19. ENVELOGO icon to your "Information" folder for future
  20. reference.

  22. An installation program is provided to install ENVELOGO
  23. with an icon on the desktop which is linked to the help
  24. file (See the Installation section of the documentation).

  26. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING that YOU must attend to is
  27. creating your own custom envelope templates!  Some
  28. test template files are provided (see documentation).
  29.  
  30. In addition, you will find a file named QWKTEMP.TXT.
  31. With OS/2 2.1, you can create a respectable template file
  32. with a graphic logo using only the applets which come 
  33. with OS/2 2.1.  QWKTEMP.TXT describes step-by-step how
  34. one can create a quick and dirty template file.
