  72.  The APT Mailing Assistant for OS/2 is a shareware program that provides
  73.  you the capability of printing professional looking envelopes and labels
  74.  on your OS/2 compatible printer that include U.S. Postal Service
  75.  approved delivery point POSTNET bar codes to insure speedy and accurate
  76.  delivery. You can use the program to print envelopes or labels one at a
  77.  time as you need them or to print many envelopes or labels in succession
  78.  when performing a bulk mailing for your business or organization. The
  79.  program's bulk mailing facility sorts the mailing as specified by
  80.  U.S.P.S. Classification Reform of 7/1/96. It also provides the
  81.  capability to print your permit box on envelopes, thus saving you the
  82.  cost of pre-printing these envelopes. Delivery point bar codes can save
  83.  postage for bulk mailing and presorted first class. Zip code statistics
  84.  can be obtained to make bundling of envelopes fast and easy. You can
  85.  also print personalized return envelopes to include in your mailing. The
  86.  program predefines types of labels for as well as providing the ability
  87.  to define your own custom labels.

  89.  The files in this package may be freely copied and distributed as
  90.  long as all files (including this README.DOC file) are distributed
  91.  together. Note, however, that this program is "Shareware" NOT
  92.  "Freeware" and has been copyrighted. If you find this program useful
  93.  and continue using it, you must register it by completing the
  94.  REGISTER.DOC form and sending it to APT Computer Solutions, Inc. at
  95.  the address on the form. More information about registration is
  96.  included in the REGISTER.DOC file.

  100. The following is information that was included too late to make the
  101. printed documentation.

  103. 1. When starting APT Mailing Assistant for the first time, the printer
  104. and paper information in the APTMA Selections screen may indicate the
  105. default printer and paper for the your system. Occasionally, default
  106. paper may not be suitable for APT Mailing Assistant, especially if the
  107. default paper is a special form (i.e. "Business Checks", etc.). Please
  108. ensure you change the paper selection in the "Printer Setup" menu to a
  109. paper APT Mailing Assistant can use (i.e. an envelope or "Letter") prior
  110. to using it for the first time. When you start the program in the future,
  111. the proper paper will appear.
