  2. Thank you for trying RADIOCTL for OS/2.
  3. Be sure to read the RADIOCTL.DOC file for information on
  4. running and registering the program.
  5.  
  6. Please be aware that support of all types of radios is difficult
  7. at best. This program has been tested thoroughly with
  8. an ICOM R7000, a KENWOOD R5000, and an AOR3000A. We continually
  9. look to enhance this program by providing support for other
  10. radios. As most radio with RS232 ports are quite expensive,
  11. additional support is added using spec sheets and "best guess".
  12. The support for AOR-8000, AOR2500, and RadioShack (OPTO), was
  13. added using the spec sheet method. There is a strong possibility
  14. that these protocols may not function correctly. We will work
  15. closely with any REGISTERED user having difficulty with these
  16. protocols to correct any errors.

  18. This program represents over two years of the author's labor.
  19. The functions provided are far in excess of commercial programs
  20. costing hundreds of dollars. In order to keep the registration
  21. cost at $25, the author URGES all that use this program to
  22. register. Registration provides us with the funds to purchase
  23. more radios for inclusion. Donation of a radio for testing
  24. can me made instead of the registration fee. Please contact
  25. the author for details if you wish to make this kind of
  26. contribution

  28. At the request of a registered user, we will investigate support
  29. for a given radio. Users can expedite this process by providing
  30. a specification sheet (interface, commands, etc.) for the
  31. requested radio. A radio for testing will insure correctness
  32. of any added support.
